Demo weapon combinations: give your second weapon a different job

Your second weapon does not have to repeat the first weapon's job. Look at the problem your run is having: a priority enemy, a crowd, or too little room to move.

Demo weapon combinations: give your second weapon a different job

Rail Needle and Starfire Coil: a target and a crowd

Rail Needle sends guided fire towards a priority target, while Starfire Coil chains hits between nearby enemies. Move along the edge of a group and watch both the projectile route and the spacing needed for the next chain.

Pulse Rifle and Scatter Cannon: test your distance

Pulse Rifle delivers repeated short beams into one enemy; Scatter Cannon sends a fan of pellets. See whether the mix suits the distance you like to keep. The pictured loadout has a T1 Pulse Rifle and a T2 Scatter Cannon.

After buying: Scatter Cannon is T2, with two weapons still equipped. Demo gameplay screenshot.

You do not need a different weapon in every slot

Prefer upgrading a smaller selection? Build around that. Check for matching fusion pairs in the shop and leave materials for the next purchase you need.

Share the pairing and its weak spot

Tell us which weapon you started with, what you added, and the tiers you reached. Did the pairing help with groups, priority enemies, or room to move? Even an unfinished run can show where a combination struggled.
